Quick and Delicious Chicken Stuffing Casserole!

I thought I'd share one of my fave easy, quick dinner recipes. Great for Working moms who want a delicious dinner relatively fast. I've been making this for years and my whole family loves it. Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter 4 Chicken breasts (or 6 tenderloins) cut up into bite size pieces 2 cups of Chicken Stuffing or use whole box and mix in. (Your preference) 1 can of Chicken broth (or use chicken bullion cubes and water) 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup 1 can of Cream of Celery soup Grated cheese as desired (Other veggies optional: corn, green beans, carrots, etc) Also optional: 1/3 cup sour cream You can either mix chicken in with mix or layer at the bottom. Also, you can either put it in the pan as is, uncooked, or fry it up to cook it a little. I always fry it up a little then put it in. Prepare the stuffing as directed and melt butter into it for flavor if desired. And if using bullion cubes, bowl water and cubes til dissolved. In other bowl, mix the 2

Frugal and FUN Family Ideas...

Lately it seems things are getting more expensive. So to have fun with our families, we have to get creative, utilize local resources, and make our own fun on our budgets. Below are some fun ideas to have a little free or cheap fun. With Spring Break and Summer Break coming, get some ideas ready for your active kids.... * Join classes, clubs, etc at your local college, library, community or recreation center, or with your children's schools or start one of your own. * Volunteer. Not only is it beneficial to the community,  it can be fun for you and your children as well. Ideas for volunteering: soup kitchens, nursing homes, cleaning up parks, local events, etc * Get to know your local town and surrounding areas.  Visit a visitor's center and explore it like you were a tourist. Visit a museum, ask for tours. * Get outdoors. Go for a hike, nature walk or bike ride. * Have fun at home. Have a cooking day and let your kids help. Make a mess. Finish a DIY

Charlie the Tramp Book Review and Giveaway

We recently got to read the 1968 Classic, Charlie the Tramp by  Russell Hoban  and  Illustrated by Lillian Hoban.  “Tramps don’t have to learn how to chop down trees and how to roll logs and how to build dams. Tramps just tramp around and have a good time. Tramps carry sticks with little bundles tied to them. They sleep in a field when the weather is nice, and when it rains they sleep in a barn.” Charlie sets off with his bundle. But when he hears water trickling, he can’t get to sleep. Will he be able to resist the urge to make it stop? As Grandfather Beaver says, “You never know when a tramp will turn out to be a beaver.”  I love this book! I remember reading it when I was a little girl. It is a classic story that is perfect for any child. There is a strong family message that explains children should be given the chance to explore and follow their dreams. If you allow them the freedom to make their own choices and explore new things, they will tend to end up by
