I just got the new book, Ripley's Believe It Or Not - A Century of Strange and you're not gonna believe what all is in here! This year's edition doesn't disappoint either. 



 Our society has always had a keen interest in the weird and strange and Ripley's is the best with their masterful collection of the oddities in the world.

As usual, each book is different and this time the cover is bright purple and looks like a time warp which totally fits with this edition's name. It definitely stands out and catches your interest and screams, "READ ME!" And you should. 




As always, there is sooo much cool stuff inside.
This edition features all new content with over 1,200 awesome stories and pictures from around the world! Some stories have been found by Ripley's staff, while others are fan submissions!

My family and I are huge Ripley's fans.
We have a big collection of the almonacs and other books. We also made it a ritual to visit the museum in Newport, Oregon at least 1x a year, or more.
We are big fans of the strange, peculiar, weird and crazy. And this book satisfies our cravings!



It has their typical peculiar categories along with a lot of new, out of this world, and totally cool stuff in it. Like babies in cages on windowsills in the city, Mud Men, Super Bugs, the Amazing Chand Baori, and so much more. 


 I always try to sit down and read it through on my own  but my kids always notice right away and pretty soon. I am reading to them and discussing everything and trying to explain all the odd sights in this book. My kids love seeing what's in these books. My 13 year old son loves to take these to school and show it off to his friends! 

 This is the perfect opportunity to get the kids off their tech devices and back into reading. They'll love this book. I guarantee it. 


I have gotten one of these books every year for myself as well as for my kids! It is so fun looking at all the pictures and reading all the stories. How wacky is some of this stuff right?!? They really love up to their "Believe It Or Not" name. 

This book does not lack in any way either. Plus, each story, though extremely incredible or deranged and shocking, is 100% true. Now that's amazing. I'd love to have their job and chase down all these stories, people and awesome Weird stuff.



Inside the book are pages upon pages of stories, articles, tidbits, and pictures of seriously amazing, kooky, wonderful and compelling, edge of your seat things. Pretty much anything you could imagine or not, is in here.

Warning: Some of the content may not be suitable for small children or easily grossed/weirded out people. There's no nudity or anything super bad in here but it does cause questions to be asked and some pictures may scare easily nervous kiddos. Go To Sleep, Sheep! New Cute Bedtime Story Book for Children!

I recently got a copy of the new book, Go To Sleep, Sheep, illustrated by Sydney Hanson. And what a cute bedtime book it is! Firstly, it was a board book so its thicker pages and a little more heavy and sturdy. Which is great for little ones. They won't tear the pages as they turn them and they can drop it or carry it where ever and it is a little more durable and easier for them to use and play with. The story is super cute and sweet. Only a few lines on each page and then a repetitious "Go to sleep, sheep!" It is simple and fun to read and perfect for bedtime. It's not too long so you can read it again and again and pretty soon they'll be reading it to you! The illustrations are wonderful. With darling little sheep and other farm animals like cows and pigs, horses and goats, and a little kitten, it'll be a treat for your little animal lovers. The pictures are somewhat realistic illustrations. Very well done and fit right along with the story.
