Bring Journaling Back with Ellie Claire Art Journals

This is a Sponsored post

Recently, I have decided I want to spend more time reflecting and journaling. It really is a lost art, but really gives you the chance to document your life, jot down your dreams, doodle like no other. And journaling is good for you. Mentally, emotionally and physically. It gives you the chance to get out your feelings, release the tension, focus, and your body will feel that release as well.

I am also a somewhat spiritual person. I believe in faith and goodness and following your heart as well as respecting the higher power. Whether you believe or not, journaling can bring you closer to your faith as well.

I just got 3 new, beautiful journals from Ellie Claire Journals, published by Worthy Publishing Group. Each are so unique and wonderful and so very special. These are not your average journals. A lot of time and though and details went into these journals.

This journal is pretty amazing. It is a how to, step by step guide that shows you how to draw the Illuminated Letters that are in your Bibles. This is great to fancy up your journaling, doodle, or to really connect yourself to the lost art of illumination lettering.

There are practice pages, other icons to illuminate, such as animals, and blank pages for more practice or journaling. I personally thought these drawing techniques were a little more advanced for myself. I am not a very good artist and could use a little more step by step directions, but it is fun to practice and they are beautiful pieces.

There is also a pretty blue ribbon attached to the book so you can mark your place.
The pages have a good thickness, and are lined with grids so you can match up the lining right when copying the letters. This book makes it easier to follow their design and practice.
At the beginning of the book is a section which discusses the history of Illumination which is vastly interesting.

The whole book really brings the old Middle Ages and Renaissance periods to life.
There is also a "keepsakes" folder in the back to keep important or special things in. I love how the word "keepsakes" is designed in the Illuminated Word style. It really looks gorgeous. There is also a strap on the outside edge of the book to hold your favorite pen. Pretty handy and convenient.

This journal takes you back in time with very artfully detailed drawings based on masterpieces from old manuscripts. These pictures add so much to the details of the book. Not only can you keep your journal, but you can lose yourself into your thoughts by coloring these wonderful masterpieces.

Each page is different, some are just lined journal pages, some include small details and words of inspiration, crafted into them, while others include the coloring pages.

As healthy for you as journaling is, as I stated above, this helps relieve the stress more with the relaxing art of coloring. Adult coloring books have become all the rage, but now you can have both your coloring and your journaling.

The cover of this book is magnificent as well, as it is the first thing you see. The amount of details and colors in it is truly wonderful. This is a book you will cherish.

This book is perfect to go along with your Bible and notes. With a well written guide on how best to use this book, it offers tips on hand-lettering, journaling, writing Bible verses and more.

They are dotted pages, lined pages, pages with inspiring words hand-lettered onto them. This journal is great for multiple uses and is the perfect spiritual companion.

I really do love the bright and beautiful cover, with positive words etched in along with beautiful flowers and leaves. It gives it that really earthly love type of look that really fits with the spirit.

As this one is definitely spiritual based, this is the one I take with me and use for my Bible companion. I read scripts or prompts and journal my thoughts, questions, and feelings. I also will often doodle and attempt my own version of hand lettering. I need some practice though, that's for sure.

All of these glorious journals are great for anyone, religious or not, if you are spiritual and/or want to learn more, let these journals become your companion. They definitely are a work of art in themselves. They are just as inspiring as the Written Word, so get inspired, get motivated. Doodle, Write, Illuminate Your Story on these special pages.

I did receive a copy of each of these journals for free through a special review program but all of the opinions above are based on my own experience and interpretation.
