I was recently given the opportunity to receive
a free copy of this book for my daughters and we loved it.
All 3 of my kids are huge VeggieTales fans
and we are often watching the shows and movies together as a family. They were
super excited for this book and so was I because it was a book made for them.
The characters they love were happily displayed on the front cover and
definitely attracted the eyes and hearts of my own children.
I really loved that at the beginning, there is also a piece for the parents to help their child better understand the verses and their meanings. You can even personalize the book by writing in your child's name and the date you gave it to them.

VeggieTales is a brand of children’s franchise that infuses
hilarious stories, silly songs and cute, lovable characters with life lessons,
morals, values, and faith-based learning. It originally started as a television
show that was released in 1993 on VHS movies, but then they made a spin-off for
LarryBoy that aired from 2002-2003. Then from 2006 and on, the show has been running on
live television. It may have started as a show, but then spread to having a
whole line of products, including movies, music, clothing and costumes, books
and toys and more. In 2014, Netflix announced a new show called VeggieTales in
the House, which my kids LOVE and watch often, and has been running episodes via streaming ever since. The franchise
has grown exponentially over the years and is still growing popularity.

So, for each day’s entry there is a Bible verse, a short devotion, a Thought
of the Day, and a prayer for your child. Just a small page to read but with big importance. Some of the topics of focus were
honesty, forgiveness, and kindness, which are all great lessons for anyone to
learn, especially children. The stories and lessons were written so even young
children can understand them. And there is 1 entry for each of the 365 days in the year!
There are also some great verses for your children to learn and memorize. There were several that I remember learning when I was a child as well.
My daughter is even sharing what she has learned with others and trying to help her younger sister learn as well. These books are great for your faith but also great for molding your child into a loving, understanding and caring person, thanks to all the lessons with real examples that they can understand.
The book is smaller in size but very brightly colored and has super cute illustrations
inside that not only capture the kid’s attention but their hearts as well. I’ve
heard a lot about them being cute, that the pictures are so pretty. And it is
inspiring my girls to create their own VeggieTales pictures.
This book is an awesome way to get a child excited about having a
relationship with God and getting into the practice of making time every day
for it. This book is perfect for bedtime reading, family time, or a great way
to start the morning off every day! Recommended for girls, ages 4-7.
