FALL IS COMING !!!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons!
I love the changing colors and the cold weather that's perfect for fuzzy socks, sweaters and cuddling in a soft and warm blanket.

I love summer and spring too, I just love fall more. It's the season for love and family time. And it's so so beautiful. The colors are amazing and I really think it's the time of year where we draw closer to our families, and not just because of the holidays.

And there so much you can do!
Here is a list of our favorite fall activities and events!

*Take pictures of things like trees. We like to take many pictures as the leaves change, until the leaves are all gone. It's really cool to see the differences and if you out them together in a frame, it's looks really cool and would be a good fall deco piece for your wall.

*Take a walk. Even in the brisk, cold air it's nice to get outside. Hot chocolate makes it even better.

*Have a fall scavenger hunt. Make a list of things like colored leaves, fallen leaves, animals to see, pumpkins, etc and look for them on a walk.

*Do fall crafts; paint leaves or pine cones, make a wreath and decorate it for fall, do corn on the cob paintings, etc. Lots of ideas can be found on Pinterest.

*Have a scary movie night...maybe Hocus Pocus with the kids. ABC Family's 13 days of Halloween starts October 19th!

*Visit a pumpkin patch!

*Go on a hayride!

*Visit a haunted house. Search your local area. I know there is tons around here.

*Fill your house with the aroma from fall scented candles like pumpkin spice!

*Get out that crock pot and get to cooking! Soups, stews, chili, etc are Perfect for fall.

*Snuggle up with a warm blanket and enjoy a family movie.

*Bake up some goodies like Apple or pumpkin pie, spiced bread, cookies...

*Decorate for fall and Halloween. Don't forget to carve the pumpkin.

*Bust out some Halloween crafts! Again you can find lots of ideas on Pinterest.

*Try a pumpkin spiced latte or other fall drinks like spiced apple cider with the family.

*Rake up them leaves, then jump in it!

*Splash around in puddles!

*Watch some Football!

*Plan a FriendsGiving dinner for your friends!

*Take a Nature Walk.

*Visit your local Saturday/Sunday or weekday Farmer's Market.

*Throw a fall harvest party and a Halloween party!

*Learn something new, like how to knit, how to can foods, or how to make a new fall recipe, or take a class.

*Have a living room camp out and tell ghost stories! :-0

*Have a fall ball! And rock out to and dance to music at home. Have everyone dress up in costumes if you want.

*Make a scarecrow! And don't forget to dress him up!

*Take a drive in the country or on the back roads.

*Bake pumpkin seeds! Yum!

*Take full advantage of the Halloween candy coming out and of course those Halloween Oreos!
